Triple-Play Fiber Access Gateway

 

11 October 2011 - Pacific Broadband Networks (PBN) is pleased to announce the availability of its 3rd generation EPON ONU PM410. This new optical network unit is designed for operators offering triple-play services in an 802.3ah compliant passive optical network. SIP-based VoIP and a CATV module are available as options. Fully embedded into PBN’s EPON Provisioning Service Manager platform, this device can be controlled and monitored from a single screen. A new accessory to the PBN portfolio is a fiber organiser which can be installed as a snap-on to the PM410 ONU or stand-alone in wall-mount or desktop configuration.

• Service access over IEEE802.3ah compliant PON, shared with up to 32 customers with CATV overlay (64 without CATV overlay).
• Four auto-negotiating Fast Ethernet subscriber ports
• Strict SLA enforcement for tiered services such as voice and video.
• Enhanced security with 128-bit AES.
• Integrated system management by PBN EPSM for broadband data service and CATV operations.
• Ideal for in-home installation, either on a desktop or wall-mounted.

• High-performance, AGC equipped, optical CATV receiver delivering full bandwidth analogue cable television 45 MHz to 862 MHz
• IPv6 supported.
