PBN shows new products at China Content Broadcasting Network (CCBN) 2017

Beijing, China, 23-25 March 2017 - PBN will launch new & innovative products during the upcoming industry-leading event “China Content Broadcasting Network (CCBN)” in Beijing, China.

During the exhibition, PBN will showcase integrated end-to-end solutions and our intelligent product portfolio, including HFC headend platforms, HFC outside plant, FTTx switches, FTTx CPEs/ONUs, and management software.

The highlight this year will be PBN’s self-developed management software platform – netWatch. It is an innovative software suite for monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting the HFC network and plant quality. Adopting the latest DOCSIS FBC (Full Band Capture) and PNM (Proactive Network Maintenance) technologies, it is designed to identify modems and areas which are on the edge of experiencing negative impact to subscriber experience and thus helping the operator to change the maintenance work from a mainly re-active operation to a proactive way of addressing network quality issues.

The 1.2 GHz/DOCSIS 3.1-ready HFC headend platform - AIMA3000 is the other highlight of the show. AIMA3000 enables MSOs to build or upgrade their networks to meet today and future access requirements. It also simplifies MSOs’ transitions to IP Networks by providing a complete range of intelligent, interoperable, RF & optical modules for HFC, RFoG, PON video overlay and many other applications. It offers up to 64 forward-path transmitters and up to 64 return-path receivers in a 4RU high-density chassis. The platform is highly recognized by major MSOs around the globe.
